"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort." Now the word here for “blessed” actually is “praise.” “Praise be to God.” I wonder how much we really praise Him. I’ve found out that I’m doing a better job of praising Him since I retired than I did when I was a pastor. Well David put it like this. Psalm 34:1. “I’ll bless the Lord at all times.” How wonderful it is.
