Are you trusting in Jesus or your good works? Dr. Stanley concludes his examination of Paul’s letter to the Galatians as he guides us through Galatians 6:16-17.
In his final words to the Galatians, Paul asks them to not put any more burdens on him because “I bear on my body the brand marks of Jesus” (Galatians 6:17). Paul realized that his price for knowing Christ was to willingly suffer for Him—and he had suffered enough.
Dr. Stanley tells us that obeying God doesn’t mean we won’t have to suffer. There is always a chance we may suffer from knowing Christ and proclaiming His holy name. Thankfully for us, it is through the trials in our lives that we learn who God is and what His will is for our lives.
