Keeping Your Eyes on the Destination
Welcome to Focal Point, with pastor and Bible teacher, Mike Fabarez. Currently, we’ve been in a study of the book of Colossians, called "Spiritual Detours". We have seen that, not unlike our own day, the believers of that early church were looking to follow Jesus, but were often sidetracked. In loving response, the Apostle Paul gave them guidance on how to block out the diversions and distractions, and keep moving ahead.
What does it actually look like to live as though God keeps his word? It's not always easy. There is questioning, wrestling and wondering; and sometimes what looks like defeat can be the exact opposite. Ambitious faith perseveres through all of it and can leave a lasting legacy.
