Guarding Our Hope in a World That Doesn’t Have It
The doctrine of sin…the Trinity…the resurrection. They sound like philosophies best kept within the walls of a college or a seminary. But on this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez highlights the critical importance of holding fast to right doctrine. Though we may not even realize it, the implications of what we believe, and why we believe it, ripple through every avenue of our lives. We’re in 1 Corinthians 15 and this message is titled, "Guarding Our Hope in a World that Doesn’t Have It."
Every believer occasionally struggles with doubt over their salvation. This is born out of guilt and discouragement of their sin they believe is too big or egregious for God to forgive.
This can lead Christians to underestimate or disbelieve the complete sacrifice for sin accomplished on the cross. Want to understand God's complete forgiveness and wiping away of sin?
