Living in Light of Christ’s Victory Over Death
Before He left, Jesus encouraged us to have hope, knowing that He had overcome the world, sin, and even death. Yet, when we look around, we don’t see much evidence of Christ’s victory. We still struggle with sin, we still experience death, and the world’s problems seem to be getting worse! On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez turns to 1 Corinthians to answer the question…is our hope in the present, or in the future? It’s part of a study called, "Life’s Last Enemy."
Every believer occasionally struggles with doubt over their salvation. This is born out of guilt and discouragement of their sin they believe is too big or egregious for God to forgive.
This can lead Christians to underestimate or disbelieve the complete sacrifice for sin accomplished on the cross. Want to understand God's complete forgiveness and wiping away of sin?
