"I’m afraid they will get upset with me! I just don’t know what to say, or how to say it. Well, God’s sovereign, so if they’re going to be saved the Lord will take care of it and so I don’t need to speak up!" Excuses why people don’t share their faith are a mile long, and maybe you have one of your own. Today on Focal Point we’re reminded of our calling as Christians, and that is to tell the lost world they need to be reconciled to God. There really is no good reason not to do this.
Every believer occasionally struggles with doubt over their salvation. This is born out of guilt and discouragement of their sin they believe is too big or egregious for God to forgive.
This can lead Christians to underestimate or disbelieve the complete sacrifice for sin accomplished on the cross. Want to understand God's complete forgiveness and wiping away of sin?
